From the pass, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and vast Tibetan Plateau.
As you cross the Gyatchu La Pass, you might find it interesting to note that the road to Mount Kailash branches off to the west, leading towards one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Tibet. However, we continue heading towards Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city, where we will spend the night.
