The Kathmandu valley boasts no less than 6 world heritage sites all-waiting to be explored. Day tours offer traveller’s extraordinary insights and experiences within a few short kilometers of Nepal’s capital.

You can easily spend a day exploring around Thamel and the stunning medieval temples and palaces of Durbar Square. Or a walk to the towering stupa of Swoyambhunath, and the national museum. Then spend the afternoon at the Tibetan centre at Bouddhanath.  A day spent at Patan for its incredible Durbar Square and museum is a must with an afternoon and dinner exploring Jawalakhel. Another possibility is an overnight stay to wake with the chimes and bells at Bhaktapur, Nepal’s oldest medieval city. For early risers a dawn trip to the stunning Himalayan views at Nagarkot or Dhulikhel before returning to Kathmandu visiting the temple at Changu Narayan. Lastly, for the active traveller a mountain bike ride to the ancient town of Kirtipur with its wonderful sense of faded grandeur.

Whichever day trip you prefer, Magical Nepal will help make it a memory for life.
