Chitwan National Park is a world heritage listed reserve of forests, grasslands, and marshes. It was unaffected by the 2015 earthquake and is home to some of the most exotic animals on the planet. Chitwan means “Heart of the Jungle” and is home to; Asian rhino’s, monkeys, sambar deer, and over 500 species of birds. If you are lucky you may even spot; wild elephants, leopards, and sloth bears, as well as a once in a lifetime chance of seeing a wild tiger.
